                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
                   ADMINISTRATOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL
                   SERVICES TO MAKE APPLICATION TO THE U.S.
                   DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
                   FOR GRANT FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF EIGHTY-
                   THREE THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS
                   ($83,000.00) TO BE USED FOR THE CITY OF
                   CHATTANOOGA'S RENTAL REHABILITATION PROGRAM.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor and Administrator of the
       Department of General Services be and are hereby authorized to
       make application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
       Development for grant funds in the amount of $83,000.00 to be 
used
       for the City of Chattanooga's Rental Rehabilitation Program.
